Understanding Energy of Signs

Here we have given a brief about the energy of a sign. For understanding energies of sign in detail, you can check out our free astrology course

Aries – The first sign in Kalpurush kundli, Aries has a very raw and dynamic energy of Mars. Any planet that goes to Aries is always on the lookout for new adventures. This is a restless sign bursting with energy and hence heavy planets like Saturn go into debilitation here.

Taurus- Next comes Taurus which shows our family, our resources in life. Ruled by Venus, Taurus sign

Gemini – Next is Gemini, sign of communication, siblings and short travels. Ruled by Mercury, Gemini denotes our subconscious brain. Geminis are idea generators of the zodiac and very good speakers. They carry childlike enthusiasm to learn about new things.

Cancer – Cancer signs show our mother, comfort, love, and home. Heavy planets like Saturn and hot planets like Mars, Ketu suffers here. Cancer is a soft sign, and the presence of Saturn makes it hard to be at peace in the home. Whereas, Mars gets debilitated here as it does not understand the energy of love.

Leo – Leo is a royal sign and is ruled by Sun, who is king of all planets. Leo shows our kids, our higher education. Leos are excellent managers.

Virgo – Virgo is the sign of debts, diseases, and enemies. All lawyers, doctors, and people who deal with emergencies have a dominant Virgo.

Libra – Libra denotes our married life, our spouse, and our communication to the outer world. Malefic and hot planets like Sun, Ketu, Mars suffer here as they bring egoistic attitudes in relationships.

Scorpio – A transformative sign, ruled by Ketu and Mars. The energies of Scorpio are never stabilized and hence when this sign gets activated through dashas, sudden changes start happening in life. Scorpio is also the sign of hidden diseases, something that’s not visible. The Moon, which is a soft planet, gets debilitated here as it cannot cope with the harsh environment created by Mars and Ketu.

Sagittarius – Ruled by Jupiter, Saggitarius is the sign of father, Guru, religion, luck, morality, and beliefs. It’s also a sign of war.

Capricorn – Ruled by Saturn, Capricorn shows the highest point in the sky. Capricorn is a marshy land where movement is incredibly slow, and each decision must be taken with care. Mars is exalted here where Jupiter is debilitated. Reason is Mars does not carry the baggage, whereas Jupiter carries his wisdom and is unable to move freely through mud.

Aquarius – Ruled by both Saturn and Rahu, the black prince. Aquarius is the sign of innovations, large groups, influential people, and gains. However, it’s also a sign of cheating.

Pisces  – Pisces is a brahmin sign. It’s also a sign of moksha and the end of our life. As a sign of letting go and trust, Pisces sign has energy of trust factor and interdependency. Any planet in this sign will work on trust. It’s also a sign of donations and isolation.
